Professional Biography

Phey practices primarily in the area of litigation with a focus in building and construction and owners corporations disputes.

Phey frequently advises on matters relating to strata conversion, registration and alteration of plan of subdivision, owners corporations asset and financial management, proper governance as well as compliance and general duties. In this regard, she has acted for property developers, owners corporations, lot owners as well as managers for the owners’ corporations.

Phey also regularly appears in the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and other court jurisdictions in Victoria acting for clients with respect to enforcement of judgement orders, breaches of owners corporation rules, contempt proceedings, debt recovery, insolvency and bankruptcy matters as well as building defects claims.
