Professional Biography

Sean started at MMRB in 2016 as a law clerk whilst studying at university before taking up a position as a trainee lawyer. He was admitted into practice in March 2018 and since then, has built up experience in drafting and advising clients on commercial matters.

Sean’s focus is on ensuring that clients understand their obligations in respect of any transaction they enter into and where a client is in dispute, finding proper commercial outcomes.

Sean’s experience covers various commercial areas, and more recently includes:

  • Property law, including sales and acquisitions of residential and commercial properties and dealing with stamp duty issues;
  • Retail and commercial leasing, including negotiating and preparing leases and advising on leasing issues;
  • Dealing with security transactions, including loan and security documents, mortgages, guarantees and PPSA;
  • Estate planning, including protecting assets and reducing risks; and
  • General commercial work such as employment and intellectual property.
